Deep in the Perche-Sarthois countryside, near Le Mans , la Ferme du Prieuré has an out of the ordinary bed and breakfast.

Close to the village church, with its historic bell tower, it is in the 14th century “lavoir”, an old wash-house! The place where monks once washed their clothes is now a cosy room for two overlooking the water.
