The Machines de l’île in Nantes 29.06.2016

Explore the Machines de l'Ile , an amazing 'mechanical' world on the 'Ile de Nantes': it's a must-see!

Incredible creatures are invented and built here, such as a Grand Elephant which wanders around and that vistors can actually ride on. The 'Carrousel des Mondes Marins' is a giant merry-go-round, nearly 80 feet/25 metres high and 72 feet/22 metres in diameter, featuring 35 weird and wonderful marine creatures.

In the 'Galerie des Machines', visitors can find out all about their making-of and about the ongoing research for the Heron Tree...
